The Church Redefined

I fully believe what we call church today needs to be redefined. There is a difference between good energy and anointing or excitement and power. My concern is for a generation who is clueless to the unadulterated power of God that is sacred in its origin and transforming in its manifestation. Our purpose must be realigned to the intent Jesus Christ our Chief Apostle established which is to proclaim in word and action the Gospel of the Kingdom, undoing the powers of darkness and setting those who are captive free.

Ask yourself this question. Did Jesus die on the cross for us to just have church services on Sunday and a midweek bible study? We are admonished not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together but when we come together as one body He is present. Not only for us to kick our heels together and have a good time, but He comes to perfect us, equip us, transform us and the list is never ending of all that should happen when Jesus our King is in the midst of His people.

Let's press into what transforms. The reality of God among His people. "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty..." Zephaniah 3:17
